Fluid Webs started developing websites in 2003, initially focussing on complex e-commerce website packages which we operated ourselves. This has provided us with over 5 years of first-hand experience operating e-commerce businesses, not only from a website perspective, but also from an all round business and logistical stance.
During this timeframe Fluid Webs have created and developed websites that have operated in both the UK and the United States, our proudest achievement being the creation of a website directly integrated into the fully automated stock control and delivery system of a US wholesaler. Our website enabled customers in the US to place orders upon a website based in the UK, triggering it to be automatically picked and packed in the US, and allowing the customer to view the delivery status of their order by UPS all the way to their front door.
This first hand experience makes Fluid Webs one of the few businesses that have an appreciation of the full extent of a company's online strategy and an understanding of day to day operations. Our experience ensures that we do not make the mistakes of other web design companies!
